Why not the App Store?
The App Store's sandboxing restrictions prevent clipboard managers from working properly. Distribution outside the App Store also means no annual subscriptions — you pay once and own it.
Is this safe to download?
Yes. The Mac app is notarized by Apple, which means Apple has scanned it for malware. Your clipboard data never leaves your device — license validation is the only network call.
How does address swap protection work?
When you copy a crypto address, yankput stores it. If the clipboard content changes before you paste — a common malware attack — you receive an immediate system notification and an inline alert showing both the original and the substituted address.
What happens to detected secrets?
Detected API keys and tokens are masked in the history panel and automatically deleted after 5 minutes. They are never logged or sent anywhere.
